Mikkelipuisto is a versatile garden destination in the middle of lush nature, just a stone's throw from the center of Mikkeli. It offers something to see and experience for visitors of all ages. Come and admire our charming model gardens at your own pace or spend an active day in a park-like environment. The area has plenty of parking space and beautiful places for picnics or outdoor activities. Lunch and café services are offered by Restaurant Greeneri, and the unique floating Sauna-Restaurant Kaihu welcomes guests to the lakeside of Mikkelipuisto.
Restaurant Greeneri
Restaurant Greeneri serves in the lush garden setting of Mikkelipuisto, offering fresh and vibrant flavors for lovers of coffee, drinks, and good food.
Restaurant Greeneri is open on weekdays from 11 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays & Sundays 12 am to 6 pm.
A delicious lunch is served on weekdays at the price of €14.
Saunaravintola Kaihu & Kaihu Rooftop
Experience the perfect sauna in a stunning lakeside setting. The saunas USVA and KAISLA offer gentle and relaxing steam.
Sauna & Loungebar Kaihu is open Mon–Thu from 3 pm to 9 pm, Fridays from 3 pm to 10 pm, Saturdays from 12 pm to 10 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 8 pm. You can book your sauna session through the website.
On the rooftop terrace, Kaihu Rooftop serves delicious drinks, tasty food, and a laid-back summer atmosphere. Kaihu Rooftop is open daily after Midsummer from 12 pm, subject to weather.
Garden park
In the Garden Park, you will find enchanting garden sections that can inspire ideas for your own yard or garden. The park offers activities and attractions for the whole family. Entry to the park area is free of charge all year round.
